This film is constructed from 35mm found footage.
A plodding black and white
1970's Romanian science-fiction melodrama is intercut with a colour
1970's American
educational
film where the scientist performs experiments with decapitated frogs
using hydrochloric acid.
This is coupled with an audio track of a telephone conversation between
the artist
and an
accomplice
discussing,
amongst
other things,
the impossibility of completeing this film project in the previously
visualised
manner.
Ultimately, as it is 'rather late', they decide not to bother at
all - hence the film takes its form.
